Things I, as a young women at camp, will do

  • I understand I am at camp to strengthen my testimony. Therefore, I will seek the spirit, have a good attitude, be helpful and kind to others.

  • I will try my best to stay the entire camp session. If I need to go home or ask my parents to come to camp for any reason, I will first contact either the camp director, A’Lynn Berg or the stake YW president, Tracy Linville.

  • I will stay with my assigned group and leaders during the scheduled activities.

  • I will be in my cabin hall assigned to my group by 10:00 pm and will stay there all night.

  • During unstructured time, I will either be at the pool (only during 3-5pm), the dining hall, the lodge or playing group games on the lawn.

  • I will only used my phone between 3-5pm and leave it in the dining hall during other times.

  • I will clean up after myself especially in common areas like the dining hall and restrooms, throwing personal used items in appropriate disposal bins.

  • I will keep my body clean at camp by showering frequently and practicing good dental hygiene.

  • I will abide by the clothing standards as outlined in the “For Strength of Youth: A Guide for Making Choices” with additional standards in the packing list.

  • I will give my prescription and OTC (over-the-counter) drugs to the camp nurse to dispense.

Things I, as a young women at camp, will not do (No warnings. You will be sent home)

  • I will not wander off by myself, but will remain with my level according to the schedule. During unstructured time, I will be either at the pool, dining hall, lodge or on the lawn.

  • I will not bring illicit drugs or harmful substances which include but are not limited to marijuana, edibles, vape pens, prescription medication not prescribed to the me, alcohol, tobacco products and so on. I will not partake of any of these substances if the opportunity presents itself.

  • I will not bring any weapons to camp including but not limited to firearms, knives (leaders will bring appropriate knives), clubs, tasers, chemical irritants etc.

  • I will not participate in discussions of inappropriate or controversial topics or behavior which includes but is not limited to pornography, breaking the law of chastity, gender identity, unrevealed doctrine or other sensitive topics in tents at night or anytime during camp.

  • I will not use foul language or be disrespectful to others or property.

  • I will not bring fireworks, candles, explosives, a heater of any kind or lighter fluid.

  • I will not perform any pranks.
